Rules for Use of the Waterpark

Waterpark Rules & Regulations

  • Staff must be obeyed at all times.
  • Wristbands are issued to all paid sliders and must be worn for the duration of the visit.  Failure to comply with the safety regulations, endangering self or others may result in the removal of the band and denial of activities.
  • Smoking is prohibited inside the fenced waterpark area, including e-cigarettes.
  • No glass containers are permitted inside the waterslide area.
  • No alcohol is permitted on the grounds.
  •  Expectant mothers may not ride the waterslides.
  • Stereos, radios, etc. are not permitted inside the waterpark.
  •  Please remember the family atmosphere promoted at Splash Valley Waterpark when choosing your bathing attire.  Metal fasteners, buckles and zippers are not permitted on the waterslides.
  • Lifejackets and puddle jumpers are not permitted on the waterslides.  Water wings are permissible.
  • Jewelry and eyewear are not permitted on the waterslides.
  • Barbeques are not permitted inside the waterpark.
  • Food and beverages are prohibited in the pool’s red zone.
  • Please walk on the cement areas and paved walkways.
  • Please exit the pool immediately after splashdown.  No swimming, diving or waiting to catch a child.
  • Approach a lifeguard if First Aid is required.
  • Mini-golf is not a driving range.
  • Splash Valley staff does not supervise the wading beach or playgrounds.
  • These activities may suggest the attendance of a supervising adult.
  • All guests using Waterpark Playground or Paddleboats must wear a lifejacket (both adults and children are required to wear a life jacket).

Sliding Rules

  • Life jackets and Puddle Jumpers are not permitted on the water slides (water wings/arm floaties are permitted).
  • No bunching or chaining of riders permitted (no double riding – parents are not permitted to ride on the slide with their child).
  • No riders may slide head first or in chains. 
  • Before sliding remove eye glasses and all jewelry (watches, rings, etc.) 
  • Lifeguards indicate the timing to sliders, to avoid collisions and accidents. 
  • No person shall dive, run, stand, kneel, rotate, or stop in the slides.
  • Hands must be kept inside the slides.
  • Sliders must exit pool immediately after splashdown.
  • The kiddie slides have a weight restriction of 60 lbs. As the name indicates, they are provided for the use of the little ones, and are well attended by qualified staff.
  • Riders under 54” must be able to swim unassisted to use the Giant Slides. Parents are NOT permitted to catch their children (water wings are permitted).

Splash Valley Floating Water Playground Rules

  • Only use during the official operating hours in the presence of a lifeguard
  • Users must have a SPLASH PASS WRISTBAND purchased at the ADMISSIONS BUILDING Maximum of 175 occupants on at one time
  • Do not use in darkness or when there is lightning
  • Do not jump from high products onto other objects or people
  • Use the products responsibly to ensure you do not injure yourself or others
  • No running, pushing, or rough play
  • Persons with diarrheal illness, nausea, skin, eye, or ear infections, open lesions or respiratory infections may not enter
  • Animals or pets are not permitted
  • Foul language and profanities will not be tolerated
  • Children under 5 are not permitted
  • Children between the ages of 5 and 12 must be accompanied and within arms reach of a parent or guardian
  • It is recommended that users are between 122cm-213 cm (48″-83″) tall
  • Users must weigh less than 300 Ibs (136 kg)
  • ALWAYS wear a properly fitted and approved Splash Valley life jacket
  • Competent swimmers only
  • No diving or sliding head first
  • Do not swim underneath the products
  • No access after consuming drugs or alcohol
  • Smoking is prohibited
  • For safety reasons, do not access if you are pregnant
  • Remove watches, jewelry, keys, or other sharp objects
  • No access with any type of food or drink
  • Do not bring any personal belongings onto the floating water playground
  • Splash Valley is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings
  • Resort staff may expel those who do not comply with the above regulations
